In reality, certain oral products can help you \u201cgo green\u201d and honor the spirit of Earth Day. These include the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Non-Plastic Floss<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you want your flossing to pollute less, consider getting some non-plastic floss. This kind is made from biodegradable silk, rather than standard plastic. It\u2019s thus free of substances that can sit in landfills for decades or even centuries. Even better, non-plastic floss is often sold in glass or cardboard containers; this move eliminates plastic usage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bamboo Toothbrush<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Instead of a plastic toothbrush, try using one made from bamboo. The latter is fully recyclable and creates little to no waste, so it lets you steward resources wisely. It also doesn\u2019t sacrifice quality, as bamboo is a sturdy material that\u2019ll keep a toothbrush working for months. More crucially, this item remains effective at cleaning your teeth and protecting your gums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Water Pick<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To make your oral care truly waste-free, go and buy a water pick! This tool uses a high-powered stream of water to clean between teeth, not strings of plastic or similar material. It\u2019s also more effective than traditional floss at removing plaque and debris from your mouth. In other words, a water pick is super friendly to both your smile and the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
