Food<\/h2>\n

Some foods, such as garlic and onions, are notorious for causing bad breath. Mints and gums can\u2019t always help with this situation because the foods get into your blood stream, and the odor comes out through your lungs. Often, the only way to get rid of food-related bad breath is to wait it out.<\/p>\n

Tobacco<\/h2>\n

Tobacco can dull your sense of smell and taste, so if you have tobacco-related bad breath, you might not even be aware of the problem! However, if others don\u2019t get very close when you\u2019re chatting, that\u2019s a good sign that you should take steps to freshen up your mouth.<\/p>\n

There are quite a few other possible causes of bad breath, including certain medications, some types of cancer, sinus issues, infections, and more. If you don\u2019t know what is causing your problem, it would be wise to consult with your dentist. A thorough checkup<\/a> may be able to reveal why your breath stinks and help you find a solution that will leave you with a confident, fresh-smelling smile.<\/p>\n
